The children from iThemba Primary meet the Austrian Airline crew.

It was a special day for iThemba, because sponsoring Austrian Airlines paid the school a visit. On this morning there were mixed feelings of anxiety and excitement, while the space was being set up for the event. The children were nervous as they prepared a song for the airline crew and the teachers were hoping everything would go smoothly. To add to the nerves, the construction crew who have been working on the school, had to finish their work before the event could start. As the speeches commenced, the children were presented with caps, colouring pencils and soft toys from Austrian Airlines.

The children were excited to present their artwork to the airline crew and proudly performed their song without a hitch. The children and the crew really enjoyed spending time together.
